Nick Golitsyn,
a developer
building the modern web.
A developer who cares about the details.
I’m a 23-year-old web developer focused on building clean, modern, user-friendly websites. Since October 2024 I’ve been at Strange Tech, contributing across everything from custom WordPress and Shopify builds to React and Laravel applications.
Day-to-day I work heavily with WordPress using EtchWP, ACF, ACSS and other powerful plugins to push WordPress beyond the usual. On the app side I build with React, Vite and Convex, and I’ve also shipped Shopify storefronts - so whether you need a marketing site, an e-commerce store, or a full web app, I can take it from concept to launch.
My background includes a four-year diploma in Web Development at IThub College and a 10-week Data Analysis bootcamp at Cambridge Spark - a combination that gave me a solid engineering foundation and a sharp analytical eye. Fluent in English and Russian, I’m detail-oriented, reliable, and easy to work with.

Data Analysis Bootcamp - Cambridge Spark
Oct 2023 - Jan 2024Building upon my existing knowledge in Python, I strengthened my skills during the 10-week Data Analysis Bootcamp at Cambridge Spark. The program covered Pandas for data processing and analysis, along with data visualization using Pandas, Seaborn, and Bokeh. A module on Maths for Data Analysis deepened my understanding of key mathematical concepts, while an emphasis on storytelling with data helped me learn how to craft clear, engaging narratives for different audiences.
A highlight of the course was the practical Hackathon, where I applied these skills to real-world problems. The bootcamp also introduced me to statistical programming, data mining, and SQL, providing a strong foundation in data analysis and enriching my ability to work with complex datasets.
IThub College
Sep 2019 - Jun 2023During my four years at IThub College, I earned a diploma in Front-End Web Development, along with certifications such as IC3 Computing Fundamentals and Microsoft's Introduction to Programming Using JavaScript. The program gave me a strong foundation in modern web technologies while also broadening my knowledge across related IT fields.
My studies included UX/UI principles, database management with SQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL, and programming in JavaScript, Python, and Dart (Flutter). I also gained exposure to project management, testing, and DevOps practices, equipping me with versatile skills to contribute across different areas of software development and IT.
